Thank you to all Timberline neighbors who attended last night’s Annual Meeting, and to those who signed proxies.
We easily exceeded quorum and unanimously approved a Board of Trustees (who will also serve as officers in 2020):
Ben Coffin (president)
Paul Tedrow (Vice President)
Lori Bauermeister (Secretary/Treasurer).
Thank you also for the engaging and encouraging discussion about the potential to vote to increase our dues (perhaps $10/mo.) which would enable us to pursue the employment of a management service, as well as to accrue needed funds for long-overdue projects like the front entry refresh and common area maintenance. I would summarize the overwhelming response as “yes, it is time.” However, this would require a 60% quorum 2/3 approval vote at a special meeting duly called for this purpose. Watch for more info from the board in early 2020 and until then, continue the conversation with one another! Finally, thank you to everyone who serves our neighborhood in any capacity, and to those who volunteered last evening to be more involved in the coming year! Myself, or another board or committee member, will be in touch. If you were unable to attend last night we will post minutes to our website soon. You can also send an email to email@example.com with any questions and/or to volunteer.
Sincerely, and with gratitude for the opportunity to serve,
Ben Coffin (trustee and president)
Thursday, November 21 – 7-9 p.m. Blackwell Elementary Library

Due to the closure today of our venue, Blackwell Elementary School because of the power outage, we have postponed our TCC Annual Meeting. We are aiming to reschedule this meeting for next week and will post the new date shortly.
My daughter’s Girl Scout Troop has decided to take over the Toys for Tots donation collection site at the entrance of Timberline – this is after talking to Dave Rowe and Bob Garrison about everything involved in this undertaking.
We have secured permission to be an official site from the US Marine Corps and plan to run it as has been done in the past – with signage, collection truck, carolers (done by the 4th grade girls of Troop #44170), etc. This will take place on December 5th from 3pm – 7pm.
This is a huge undertaking but my two co-leaders and I as well as our 17 girls are up to the challenge of providing toys for tots and carrying on this wonderful Timberline tradition. My husband and I do the lights and decorations at the front of Timberline for the holiday season and so we were planning to put up the big Toys for Tots sign up in the next week.
The City of Sammamish is conducting an open house to review the detail design, schedule, and budget for the Sahalee Way Widening Project, Northeast 25th Way to NE 37th Street. The meeting will be held at:
Boys & Girls Club Teen Center
825 228th Ave NE
For more information contact John Ireland, P.E., email@example.com, (425) 295-0563
In response to numerous complaints from Timberline Residents about cars speeding on NE 37th Way, your TCC Board has been discussing with the City of Sammamish on ways to decrease driving speeds on this street. The City of Sammamish is willing to paint bike lanes which they have found decreases driving speeds. The City is not willing to implement other speed control options at this time.
The TCC Board would like your comments. We will be discussing this at the Annual Meeting, or you may leave your comments to this post,
